The Port Lincoln Football League’s Women’s Competition will kick off on Friday November 29 at Mallee Park. Round 1 will be split over Friday and Saturday, with Marble Range to take on Mallee Park in both the U16 and Open Grade on the Friday, with the remaining Open Grade teams to play on the Saturday starting at 11am.
Two teams will have a bye in Round 1 with the Boston U16 team taking on the combined Kangaroos team for their first match of the season in Round 2 at Poole Oval. The Kangaroos are a combined team consisting of players from Lincoln South, Wayback and Tasman Imperial.
Round 10 will be played on Wangary Oval on Saturday 18 January, with the remainder of the season being played at Poole Oval. An exciting move for the competition, relocating from the PLHS Oval provides the opportunity for all Open Grade matches to be played on a full size oval, and lighting for the later matches.
It’s not too late to get involved, contact a club today to find out how you can volunteer or play. Umpires are also highly valued and support is available for those interested in getting involved in umpiring. For more information send an email to info@plfl.com.au or message the League Facebook page.
The full fixture will be available on the PLFLW website very soon.
