Played in ten (10) Mortlock Shield Championships (8 with Lincoln Districts and 2 with Far West)

Q: Where and when did you start umpiring?

In the Port Lincoln Football League when I retired from playing football (13 years ago)

Q: What got you to start umpiring?

I felt that I would like to continue contributing to the Mallee Park Football Club.

Mildy Chandler (Western United, Far West League)

Q: Best player(s) you played against?

Mick Hegarty (Wayback Football Club)

Q: Who was the best and/or favourite coach(es) you ever had?

Joe Burgoyne (Mallee Park Football Club)

Q: What is your most memorable game(s) as an umpire?

Every one of them.

Q: What is your most memorable game(s) as a player?

Kicking ten (10) goals in a game in 1987 for Mallee Park.

Q: What advice would you give to the next generation of footballers?

Stay involved in your club in some way.

Q: Are there any game rules you would like to see changed?

Not really.

Q: Are you still involved in football?

Yes, I help out where I can at the Mallee Park Football Club.
